Liquid Glucose is the purified concentrated aqueous solution of nutritive saccharides obtained from the partial hydrolysis of edible starch, which is purified and concentrated to required solids. The degree of hydrolysis or the cleavage of starch molecule is measured by Dextrose Equivalent. It consist chiefly of Dextrose, Dextrin’s, Maltose and Water. Our strictly controlled manufacturing process ensures production of WATER CLEAR liquid glucose.

Since, it is less expensive as compared to the price of the sugar, hence, it is majorly used as a sweetener (partial replacement of sugar)

Applications of Liquid Glucose

  • Sweetener : Liquid Glucose is an ideal additive for sweets, confectionary, biscuits, Ice creams, Jams, Jellies, preserves pastries & liquors due to its moderate sweetness & nutritive value.
  • Pharmaceutical :  It is a valuable ingredient of cough syrups and other vitamin based tonics. It is also used as a granulating agent, for tablet coatings.
  • Others : Tobacco, Leather, Shoe Polish, etc.

Storage:

Liquid Glucose should be kept in an air-tight container. Either stored in drums or tight containers, it should be kept in a cool, dry environment. Always away from sunlight.
